Body love and acceptance is all about starting small.
From kindness comes acceptance.
Our bodies are constantly changing. How has that affected your relationship to your body? How can yoga help you develop a kind and empowering relationship to your body as it is today? Join a supportive community at Peak Yoga on a journey toward self-compassion. We will start with a Yin Flow practice which will leave you feeling open and free, then explore beliefs about body and self and finally reflect on how to bring more kindness to your perception of yourself.
This event is appropriate for anyone who wants to explore how to be kind to their bodies. Whether you struggle with body image because of your past, weight, race, size, ability, aging, illness, or more, we invite you to join us.
Maureen (Mo) has been working with adolescents and families for more than ten years to resolve issues including self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationships and parenting.
Lindsey has completed training as a traumainformed yoga instructor and is currently working towards her 800 hour Yoga Therapy certification.
