Elissa Slezak, RYT 200
Elissa began exploring yoga while in college, initially seeking relief from stress and regular stretching in between trail runs. Yoga soon became steady presence in her life, and she has practiced Hatha, Iyengar, Bikram, and Vinyasa styles of yoga over the past 18 years. Elissa sought deeper understanding of her practice, and became a certified yoga instructor through CorePower Yoga in 2006. She believes that through yoga practice we find physical expression of many healing principles including balance, self-awareness, strength, flexibility, and detoxification, all of which can be translated both mentally and spiritually to other aspects of our lives.
