Lindsey Derus, RYT 200
After a rough start in college, yoga helped Lindsey build her own sacred temple of inner resources. Her practice initiated a powerful shift in her life and she wanted to share its healing potential with others. Following her initial 200 hr. training in 2012, she was inspired to study yin and restorative practices. She is currently working towards her 800 hr. Yoga Therapy certification and has completed training as a trauma informed yoga instructor. Lindsey aims to meet students where they are in order to facilitate a space for all students to better understand their human nature and to grow into their fullest potential. Her classes combine all eight limbs of the yogic path with a focus on mindfulness techniques in order to ground students in their own innate wisdom. She hopes to provide practices and tools that can be taken off of the mat and applied to daily life.
