Sage Santmier, RYT 500, E-RYT 200
Sage Santmier has been teaching all-levels yoga classes for 9 years and is 500-hr RYT and 200-hr E-RYT (Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher). Specializing in Hatha Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, she first trained with Corepower Yoga in Colorado Springs, CO, where she developed a strong foundation in powerful flow yoga. She followed with her advanced training in a service-based Kunga Yoga style developed by Kristin Cooper-Gulak at the Wilmington Yoga Center, NC, which fosters an awareness of yoga as a lifestyle and encourages the practice of yogic principles on and off the mat. Sage’s classes reflect a balance of effort and ease, strength and grace, active heating and passive cooling. She offers challenging flows that are accessible to all levels of practice and finishes with Yin-style deep stretching for major joints, accompanied by gentle hands-on assists. Sage approaches the practice of yoga as an opportunity to heal the mind/body/spirit connection, to challenge the judgements of the mind, and to stimulate profound personal growth in all practitioners.
